Chris Pratt In Talks To Join Taylor Sheridan’s ‘FAST’

Well, Chris Pratt seems to have a bit more free time on his hands. With two of his biggest projects, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and Cowboy Ninja Viking, now on hold indefinitely, the man’s schedule has essentially cleared up. What will he do in his free time? Well now we may know.

Taylor Sheridan has scribed some of the most intense scripts we’ve seen to date. Some of the films he has under his belt are Sicario and it’s sequel, Hell or High Water, 12 Strong, and Wind River! Wind River seems to have slid under everyone’s radar, but the suspense in it was beautiful. With his newly cleared schedule, Chris Pratt is set to star in Sheridan’s Wind River follow up, Fast. His role in this action thriller has been described as, “a former special forces commando, who’s recruited by the DEA to lead a black ops strike team targeting drug dealers who are protected by the CIA.”

The word franchise has been tossed around quite a bit with Sheridan’s movies, and with the stars that have been appearing in his films, I wouldn’t doubt it. If Pratt joins Sheridan’s film, it’ll make him one of the many MCU stars to work with the writer/director as well. Jeremey Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Josh Brolin, Jeff Bridges, and Benicio Del Toro have all played significant roles in Sheridan films.

Be sure to stay tuned to the page for anymore news regarding Chris Pratt and his appearance in Fast! What are your thoughts on this casting? Would you be excited to see Chris Pratt in a more grounded action thriller? Let us know over at SuperBroMovies! – JB Baker
