It seems the tapes are coming sooner than we thought.

MCU Cosmic has recently revealed a rumor for 13 Reasons Why star Katherine Langford’s role in Avengers 4. Speculation over who exactly she is set to play in the film has stretched as far as Kate Bishop and Cassie Lang. However, rumors have been hinting that Avengers 4 will feature a child of one of the original six Avengers in the future.

That child could very well be Iron Man’s daughter, especially given the hints of Tony Stark and Pepper Potts wanting a child in Infinity War. However, given Langford’s age it would be safe to assume that this is a further time jump than anticipated. 20 years into the MCU’s future, to be exact.

It is also a possibility that Tony Stark will be seeing different timelines in the future and therefore seeing his daughter grown. MCU Cosmic mentions that it would be a fitting and emotional close to the character’s pivotal role in the MCU by having to sacrifice a future in which his daughter exists in order to save everyone that was victim to the snap.
