The Magician could be making his return to the Arrowverse. According to Spoiler TV, John Barrowman has revealed that he will be returning to Arrow in Season 7.

Barrowman reportedly told the crowd at a Torchwood panel at Supanova Comic Con & Gaming Expo, that he would return to the show “later this season.”If you’re not caught up on Arrow, Barrowman’s Malcolm Merlyn met his end in the season finale of Season 5. He sacrificed himself for his daughter Thea Queen during the battle on Lian Yu.

It’s unclear at this point in what capacity Barrowman will be returning. Arrow is no stranger to characters returning from the dead. In fact, this wouldn’t even be the first time Merlyn himself came back from the grave. It’s also possible he appears as a hallucination to one of the characters, which has happened numerous times throughout the series.
