The man behind it all in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Nick Fury has been absent from the limelight since his last appearance in Avengers Age of Ultron. Fans were very happy to see him in the post-credit scene of Infinity War. Although it did not end well for him the lasting shot, of his pager contacting Captain Marvel left us all with some lasting hope.
Now with the new Marvel’s Captain Marvel Prelude #1 we got a glimpse into what Nick and Maria Hill have been up to since the second Avengers film all the way up until Infinity War.
This scene from the comic takes place during the events of Captain America: Civil War. Fury and hill kept measures on what our heroes were up to this whole time, and as we see here Fury still has Captain Marvel in the back of his mind.
More importantly, it’s revealed that our heroes on the run. Captain America, Black Widow, Falcon, and Scarlet Which all were in contact with Nick as he helped them throughout their endeavours. Also shown is Maria Hill urging Iron Man to get the Avengers back together as the world needs the team altogether.
