Phase four MCU is set to expand the movie universe even further than where we are today, and a big part of that could rest on the Eternals movie. Written by Mathew and Ryan Firpo and set to be directed by Chloe Zhao, the film will be a staple in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In an interview with Bionic Buzz, Kevin Feige had this to say about the movie:
“Your reaction about not being familiar with the Eternals is perfect, because most people weren’t familiar with Guardians and believe it or not there were people that were not familiar with Avengers or with Iron Man. So for us, it’s finding great stories whether people have heard of them or not and bring them to the big screen in as amazing a way as we can.”
It’s obvious that these characters are unknowns much like the Guardians of the Galaxy were. If one man knows how to take an unknown group of characters and make them mainstream cultural icons though, its Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige.
