Kingsman has made its way into the hearts of a lot of fans. With its new take on spy films, fans have been in constant anticipation for the next endeavor that Eggsy would take on next. However, many were surprised when they found out the next installment would be a brand new prequel story in the Kingsman universe, and now we have more news on it!

Matthew Vaughn has done an amazing job creating this new realm of stories in a current world full of skeptics. His new adventure will take on the Kingsman many years before Eggsy was running across rooftops or showing up some bullies in a bar. The film will be based around the Kingsman tailor shop in what will be Vaughn’s attempt at a period drama. It’ll be a more in depth look at the history of the Kingsman and where it all began. Filming is slated to begin in January, with a shoot that should span about four and a half months. Although the film is the third release in the series, it won’t be called Kingsman 3, for that could cause a mix up in what will be the next film after this prequel!

Following this shoot, Vaughn will dive into the last chunk of Eggsy and Harry’s story as a duo, but not as individuals! No need to fret, I’m sure we’ll see plenty more of Taron and Colin in their titular roles.

Have you had enough Kingsman? I hope not, because we’re also getting a spinoff television series, that will be what no one expects, says Vaughn himself. With that being said, it will still be completely immersed in the same universe that we’ve all grown to love.
