Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of Harley Quinn) may sound like a ridiculous, off the walls movie, but that isn’t stopping DC from adding some sadistic characters to the wacky mix. Just a few weeks ago, we learned that Ewan McGregor would play the lead villain character Black Mask. Today, it was announced that another DC villain will be teaming up with McGregor’s villain.

Chris Messina (Argo, The Mindy Project) will play Victor Zsasz. He is a sadistic serial killer who keeps a tally of his kills with markings on his skin. Zsasz will be working alongside Black Mask in the movie. This goes to show that WB is not pulling punches with the darkness in the corners of their universe.
