The SUMC isn’t going anywhere. In news that should surprise no one, a sequel to Venom is currently in development.
In an interview with our friends over at Discussing Film, Venom screenwriter Jeff Pinkner revealed that a follow-up to the Tom Hardy led film is in the works:
“I can’t say anything other than that it is happening.”
Recently, Sony set two release dates for SUMC films in 2020. One appears to be for the Jared Leto Morbius film, while the other was still unknown, but it’s safe to assume this is where the Venom sequel will land.
