Following the sudden and utterly devastating cancellation of fan-favorite Marvel shows ‘Daredevil’, ‘Iron Fist’, and ‘Luke Cage’, fans are waiting with bated breath to see what Netflix will decide to do with ‘Jessica Jones’ and ‘The Punisher’.
Due to both shows having new seasons currently in the post-production stage, fans will of course have to wait until both shows’ respective seasons premiere on the streaming service before knowing if the anti-heroes will have a home.
Well fans can no at least breathe a sigh of relief as it seems like there is a timeline for the premiere of season 2 of the show starring Frank Castle and his thirst for revenge for the death of his wife and children.
According to ComicBook.com, the new season is heading to a TV near you in January. In the past, the Netflix corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has had months of anticipation and marketing leading up to its debut but, as seen with the most recent (and final) season of ‘Daredevil’, release dates are being announced with only a few weeks notice.
No specific date or plot details have been announced to be sure to stay tuned for further information.
