The Mandalorian will be the first attempt at a live action Star Wars television series. With Jon Favreau igniting the series, we can expect episodes directed by some of our favorites. As it goes in the business, plot details are sometimes never able to be kept secret, and now we have more plot details regarding the highly anticipated show.
Our first set of details came from Favreau himself at the Solo premier. He stated that the show will take place seven years after Return of the Jedi. However, now there is new reports contradicting that.
The Holllywood Reporter’s Borys Kit received news stating some different information. Check it out below:
So now it seems not only will it take place only five years after, but it will also take place in the Outer Rim possibly. It makes perfect sense, since the place will not be affected but the destruction of the Empire, nor will they care.
The more news we here about the show the more excited I get. It fits perfectly in canon and covers a whole aspect that many fans have been itching to know more about. What do you think of this new news? Do you want this to happen in the Outer Rim? Let us know over at SuperBroMovies! – JB Baker

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.
