While the rest of the world was out celebrating the New Year, Kevin Smith was hard at work on his upcoming movie Jay & Silent Bob Reboot.

Kevin Smith, director of Clerks, Tusk, Dogma and the original Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back posted on his twitter that he was having a meeting for the upcoming film:

Aside from their own film, Jay and Silent Bob have popped up in many films set within Smith’s View Askewniverse such as Clerks, Chasing Amy and Dogma. The characters have also appeared on an episode of The Flash, which Smith also directed.

Smith has said the film will be a complete redo of the adventure the stoners had in Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, much like many reboots do nowadays.
