With hype for Marvel Studios Captain Marvel building, any news about the film is exciting to hear.  And the most recent bit of news comes from a recent leak from the film. It looks like a recent still from the film has surfaced giving us a look at Captain Marvel herself and a young Monica Rambeau.

It was originally rumored that Lashana Lynch would be portraying Monica but we now know she is her mother Maria. For fans of the comics they will remember Monica Rambeau is a hero who has gone by the names Photon, Pulsar, Spectrum, and for a time Captain Marvel. Based on the fact they have Monica as a child during the film they may have hopes for her in the present day MCU. Maybe one day we will see Spectrum team up alongside Captain Marvel.

As of now, not much is known about what role Monica will play in the film, so for now, stay tuned to SuperBroMovies for any updates.
