Samuel L. Jackson Has Revealed Captain Marvel’s Newest Power (SPOILERS)

It’s no secret that Marvel is setting Captain Marvel up to be at the forefront of the MCU. It has been stated multiple times that she will be the strongest character in the Marvel universe. But just how strong she is has been a mystery for some time now. Now, thanks to Samuel L. Jackson, we may have just learned a new aspect of her powers.

In an interview with Observer, Jackson revealed that Carol Danvers will be able to time travel in the upcoming film:

“I mean, [the Avengers are] up against some really, really tough odds right now, we saw throughout Infinity War,” Jackson said. “So now we know we need something that’s as powerful as Thanos, and at some point, we’ll find out how powerful she is and all the things that she’s capable of. She’s one of the few people in the Marvel universe that can time travel.”

This an unexpected reveal as Captain Marvel isn’t usually portrayed with such an ability. However, this could explain how the Avengers travel back in time during Avengers: Endgame. Until now we have been unsure how they will accomplish this as the resident time traveler Doctor Strange was dusted. So, if Captain Marvel can truly time travel then perhaps she will help the Avengers.
