A mainstay of the CW’s Arrowverse is lending their expertise to the DC Universe streaming service. Arrow director Glen Winter will helm the pilot for Geoff Johns’ Stargirl series.
If you’re unfamiliar with Winters’ work, he’s worked on DC TV since the early 2000s. He’s directed episodes of Smallville, Arrow, The Flash, DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow, and Supergirl. Recently, the veteran director worked on episodes of Titans, and the yet to be released Doom Patrol.
Winter will direct a cast that includes Brec Bassinger as Courtney Whitmore/Stargirl, Lou Ferrigno Jr. as Rex Tyler/Hourman, Brian Stapf as Ted Grant/Wildcat, Henry Thomas as Charles McNider/Dr. Mid-Nite, Luke Wilson as Pat Dugan and Anjelika Washington in an undisclosed role.

Stargirl is expected to debut this year on DC Universe
High school sophomore Courtney Whitmore who inspires an unlikely group of young heroes to stop the villains of the past.
