Warner Bros. will delay the production start date for Fantastic Beasts 3 from late July to late fall. The cast has been notified of the change so they could make the proper changes to their schedules accordingly.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, which made $650 million at the box office in 2018, is a step down compared to Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, which made $814 million. The pre-production team for the third film needs more time as they are working to make sure they can produce a quality film. The Crimes of Grindelwald was received poorly among audiences. The third film does not appear to have a confirmed date for the movie release.
David Yates has been confirmed to direct the third film in the Fantastic Beasts franchise. Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterson, Jude Law, and Ezra Miller lead the returning cast. Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling is producing.

Can’t wait for the third, fourth or fifth! Bring them on! I loved the second one, don’t understand the hate. I think it was that people just didn’t understand it. Oh well, we all can’t be geniuses like myself & J.K.! 😀
