One of the most highly anticipated sequels known to man is none other than Zombieland 2. The first movie was a massive hit and arguably one of the best takes on zombie entertainment ever. Can you beat Bill Murray in a zombie movie? Probably not.

Sony announced that the sequel is in the works, as well as the whole cast returning to play their respected parts. Ruben Fleischer is returning to helm the film, following his massive ‘success’ with Venom. Now we have news that joining them on this journey is Rosario Dawson! She is not the first new face on the film, and likely won’t be the last. Her role is unknown at the time, although, it’s possible she will play “Nevada,” the badass zombie hunter that will rival Woody Harrelson’s Tallahassee, which we revealed in our exclusive report from last week.

With filming expected to start this week, we can expect some more news within the coming months regarding the sequel! Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese have returned to pen the script so when you say the whole gang is back together, it’s actually true!
