The promotions for Captain Marvel are in their final stage as the date commences. Brie Larson was seen at Ellen’s Show and later today posted a clip where she is seen fighting off a Skrull disguised as a middle-aged man.

As evident the above scene is perhaps, what happens before the infamous ‘Grandma fight’ on the train, that we have seen in the trailers. We also see Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury behind the wheel along with Clark Gregg’s Phil Coulson trying to keep up with Captain Marvel. Also, she (Captain Marvel) is in the Star force uniform and thus we can infer that this scene happens somewhere at the beginning itself.

It follows the story of an Air Force pilot Carol Danvers who gets her DNA infused with a Kree Superhero Captain Mar-vell. However, Marvel Cinematic Universe will attempt to depart from the comics at times and I for one would love to see her retconned as some case where her powers are derived from Tesseract just like the Maximoff twins in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Also, confirmed by Marvel Studios that it’s not an origin story, we are eager to see how she fits in this cinematic universe and helps the others in Avengers Endgame.
