‘JESSICA JONES’ Season 3 Set For Summer Release

We may be witnessing the final leg of the Marvel/Netflix shows in their short-lived marathon. With The Punisher Season 2 having just been released it was only a matter of time until we got word on the other remaining show, Jessica Jones.

Disney CEO, Bob Iger, revealed that the show is expected to be released sometime in the summer. This bit of information was revealed during the Fiscal Year Earning conference call earlier this week. We’ll soon be getting more of Alias Investigations and the scummy underbelly of Hell’s Kitchen.

With production slated to wrap in the coming months, this lines up with the general timeline of the Marvel/Netflix shows seeing as how they don’t need much time in post-production and don’t tend to begin advertising until it’s close to the release date.

With Iron Fist, Luke Cage and Daredevil having already been cancelled and fans awaiting The Punisher’s fate, this may be the last we see of the Netflix-Marvel Universe.

What do you think of this news? Are you excited to see if the showrunners were able to send off Jessica Jones in a satisfying way? Let us know your thoughts @superbromovies on Twitter!
