A video from the set of Birds of Prey has revealed an unlikely alliance. In the clip, we see Black Canary and Victor Zsasz chasing Cassandra Cain, who has just been arrested by the police.

What has fans talking is the fact that Jurnee Smollett-Bell’s Dinah Lance is working with Zsasz. In the comics, Chris Messina’s character is a known assassin and somewhat of a loose cannon. The most likely scenario is that Lance is working undercover in Black Mask’s crew, which Zsasz is a member of. Check out the clip below:

Birds of Prey will see Harley Quinn team up with Black Canary, Huntress, and Renne Montoya. The plot will center around the group attempting to rescue Cassandra Cain from the main antagonist of the film, Black Mask.
