It’s an exciting time for fans of a galaxy far, far away. So much Star Wars content is set to launch this year, like The Mandalorian, a new season of The Clone Wars, and perhaps the most anticipated, the ninth and final chapter of the Skywalker saga. The follow up to Rian Johnson’s The Last Jedi has been shrouded in secrecy, but now, some new character art has emerged, including a first look at the old smoothie himself, Lando Calrissian.
The art comes courtesy of Reddit user JediPaxis, who claims he received the images from a source that has provided him with correct Star Wars information in the past. For obvious reasons, the source wishes to remain anonymous, but the art does seem the be legit. Click here to take a look for yourself.
For one, Poe’s outfit in the art matches the costume Oscar Isaac was seen wearing on set last summer, which lends some serious credibility to the art’s legitimacy. Rey is sporting what looks like old school Jedi garb, and Kylo Ren is looking as sinister as ever, once again donning his helmet from The Force Awakens.
We also get some peeks at a few creatures and droids, all of which look entirely new, hinting that we’ll get to see some exciting new worlds in the trilogy’s conclusion. Dominic Monaghan appears to be playing a Resistance trooper, and Richard E. Grant’s black costume is unmistakably that of a First Order officer. Lando looks as fashionable as he always has, wearing a yellow shirt that’s very similar to the one he wore in Solo: A Star Wars Story.

The still untitled Star Wars: Episode IX hits theaters on December 20.
