The upcoming Batman spinoff series, Pennyworth, is debuting later this year on Epix. Ahead of its release, a new image coming out of TCA has provided us with our first look at The Imitation Game actor Jack Bannon as Alfred.

Pennyworth, which hails from Gotham’s Bruno Heller, promises a new take on Batman’s iconic butler. The series will take place in 1960s London where a young Alfred meets billionaire Thomas Wayne, Bruce’s father.

Recently, Gotham and Pennyworth executive producer Danny Cannon shed some light on what we can expect from the series. “It’s not the England we know. It looks and feels like, but if you look a little closer, [you think], ‘Why is that like that? Why is that building there? What war is he talking about?‘”
