The Titans will have their hands full when season two rolls around. A new character breakdown for the DC Universe series may tease an appearance by Superman arch-nemesis, Lex Luthor.
The breakdown, which was obtained by The GWW, reveals a new villain being referred to as “Dax.” This foe is a master manipulator and has spent time in prison, which fits the MO of Luthor. You can check out the description below:
Mercurial and unpredictable, Dax delights in the element of surprise. Awkward and unpopular as a young boy, he insulated himself from others and developed masterful skills of manipulation. This led to a successful career as a criminal, where he had a unique ability to catch the enemy off-guard with his unassuming nature. Having spent many years in prison for his crimes, Dax is thrilled by the opportunity to get back to work and create chaos for his foes.
At SDCC 2018, Geoff Johns revealed that both Luthor and Superboy would be making appearances on Titans somewhere down the line. With the latter of the two being introduced in the season finale of season one, it was only a matter of time before Luthor came into the fray. It’s likely that the criminal mastermind will have some involvement with CADMUS Labs, the location Superboy escaped in December’s finale.
The GWW also reported that the show is looking to cast a man of any ethnicity, age 30-39, for a recurring role in the series. This would be the second time in recent months that a DC TV show cast the role of Luthor, with Jon Cryer landing the part for an arc in Supergirl later this year.
