Harley Quinn Not Expected To Appear In James Gunn’s ‘SUICIDE SQUAD’ Sequel

Task Force X may have lost one of its most vital members. According to a new report by Forbes, Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn is not expected to return for Jame’s Gunn Suicide Squad sequel.

Following Gunn’s firing from Disney and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, studios began courting the talented director. It didn’t take long for him to find work as he quickly signed on to write a Suicide Squad sequel for Warner Bros. and DC, which he was later confirmed to be directing.

Gunn’s iteration of the Worst Heroes Ever is expected to take a different approach from his predecessor David Ayer. If Gunn wants a clean slate, that could mean cleaning out the cast which includes the likes of Robbie, Will Smith, and Viola Davis. That being said, fans will get their fill of Harley as she is set to lead the upcoming Birds of Prey film, which is rumored to be the first entry in a trilogy of films starring Daddy’s Little Monster.
