Its been nearly a month since the release of Marvel Studios Avengers: Infinity War and the world is still in shock. The film continues to shatter records around the world and is currently on its way to make $2 billion. But what is even more impressive than its box office success is the story itself. Infinity War did more than we ever expected and killed off many fan-favorite characters, but according to a new report, they may be joined soon by some of the MCUs original stars.
***Warning Major Spoilers***
According to a new report from Cinema Facts after the events of Avengers 4, only two of the original Avengers will survive.
The site claims the report comes directly from the Russo Brothers themselves. These deaths would seem to make sense given the fact all of the actors’ contracts are due to end after Avengers 4 and there have been no reports of any renewing them as of yet. After Infinity War killed off many characters we know are coming back, some fans were a bit critical stating it took away from the gravity of the situation. But if the Russos were to kill off these iconic and beloved characters it would surely drive the point home that these films have real stakes.
It is far too early to say with certainty who will be the survivors of Avengers 4 but one possible character would Chris Hemsworth’s Thor. Hemsworth has recently hinted that Thor could be sticking around for a while longer. Many fans have long thought that either Iron Man or Captain America could meet their end giving way to new characters who would serve as cornerstones of the MCU.
The site this report comes from has previously reported on Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4 news in the past. They accurately gave a number of characters who would die in Infinity War including Gamora, Drax, and Vision. However, we should still take this report with a grain of salt as there has been no official word yet regarding the news. So as more updates come in be sure to stay tuned to SuperBroMovies.
