SAMUEL L. JACKSON & COBIE SMULDERS Confirmed For ‘SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME’

After a few years of sitting on the bench in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and leaving the day-to-day operations of S.H.I.E.L.D. to Phil Coulson and his team on ABC’s ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’, Nick Fury and Maria Hill made their big returns to action during the end-credits scene of Avengers: Infinity War.

The roles were reprised by Samuel L. Jackson and Cobie Smulders, respectively, and it looks like the two actors caught the Marvel bug again as, they have been confirmed to appear in the film that will immediate follow the still-unnamed fourth Avengers film coming out in May of 2019, Spider-Man: Far From Home.

While the two secret agents did not survive “The Snap” with which Thanos used to erase half of life in the universe from existence, Jackson’s Nick Fury is all set to appear in Next year’s Captain Marvel alongside Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers.

Previously, we reported that Cobie Smulders would be appearing in the Spider-Man sequel following an Instagram post by Numan Acar, but this new bit of knowledge confirms that Tom Holland’s Peter Parker will continue to branch out into other areas of the MCU even following the earth-shattering events of Infinity War.

What do you think? What role with Fury and Hill play in the continuation of Spider-Man’s story? What other MCU stars will reprise their roles in the sequel? Let us know int the comments below and @superbromovies.
