In a late night bombshell, Deadline is reporting that the Finn Jones led Iron Fist has been canceled.

In a joint statement, Marvel and Netflix praised the cast of the show. Adding that this is not the last we’ll see of the immortal Iron Fist:

“Everyone at Marvel Television and Netflix is proud of the series and grateful for all of the hard work from our incredible cast, crew and showrunners. We’re thankful to the fans w ho have watched these two seasons, and for the partnership we’ve shared on this series. While the series on Netflix has ended, the immortal Iron Fist will live on.”

With a second season of The Defenders on the backburner, it’s possible Danny Rand can find a home on Luke Cage. He made an appearance in the show earlier this year, along with Colleen Wing.
