EXCLUSIVE: Elliot Knight Joins DC’s ‘TITANS’ As Don Hall, The Original Dove

Fans may have to wait a while longer to get another look at DC’s Titans, but we have some news that should excite you. We’ve exclusively learned that Donald “Don” Hall, the original Dove, will be appearing on the show portrayed by Life Sentence actor Elliot Knight.

Knight will fill in the role of Don Hall but will only appear in flashbacks. He will be the brother to Alan Ritchson’s Hank Hall, which will add depth to the present day Hawk and Dove storyline. It’s likely that Don meets his untimely end before the start of the series, leading to another person taking on the mantle. The present-day Dove, Dawn Granger, will be portrayed by Friday Night Lights actress Minka Kelly.

Knight is known for appearing in shows like Once Upon A Time and How To Get Away With Murder, with his most recent stint coming on CW’s Life Sentence. It’s not clear whether or not his role as Don Hall extends past the first season of Titans, but his presence will be felt in Hawk and Dove’s journey.

Don Hall is a rather classic character in DC comics lore. He was the original Dove and brother to Hank Hall aka Hawk. They were the original “Hawk & Dove” duo until Don met his end during Crisis on Infinite Earths. This led to Dawn Granger eventually picking up the mantle and becoming the Dove most fans are familiar with.

Stay tuned for more information regarding the show!
