Prepare yourself for a lot more of Jason Momoa. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. Pictures Group chairman Toby Emmerich has started preliminary discussions regarding an Aquaman sequel.
These talks began after WB learned of the box office projections for the weekend of December 21st. Aquaman is projected to win its debut with a haul of $65 million, beating out both Bumblebee and Mary Poppins Returns.
It’s no secret that DC and WB have a plethora of movies in various forms of development, although, a sequel to the upcoming underwater blockbuster would mark only the second time a solo film has had a follow-up greenlit.
