As we gear up for the Titans finale this Friday, fans of the show are eagerly awaiting news regarding the show’s second season. Well, they’re in luck, we’ve learned when Season 2 will reportedly begin production.
Thanks to our friends over at the Titans Facebook group, rumor has it cameras are set to begin rolling early next year, February to be exact. This will likely lead to a late 2019 release if things go according to plan. The crew is currently hard at work writing the upcoming season, as confirmed by writer Bryan Hill during our exclusive interview earlier this week. To add to that, we have heard separately that they began prepping the next season a few months ago around the time it was renewed.
Currently slated to hit the streaming service next year will be Doom Patrol in February, Swamp Thing in May, Stargirl in August, and Harley Quinn in October. Those dates indicate a window in late 2019 for Titans Season 2 to debut.
Another thing to keep in mind, it is likely the next season of the show will include an increased episode number. Season 1 only released 11 episodes, after being slated for 13. Expect the full season order when the show hits the streaming service next year.
