It only took a decade and a failed TV show, but Zombieland is finally returning for the sequel we all know it deserves. The whole band is getting back together to continue the story of Tallahassee, Columbus, Wichita and Little Rock. So let’s breakdown what you can expect from the follow-up to the 2009 cult classic.

SuperBroMovies can exclusively reveal that Zombieland 2 will follow the charismatic group of zombie slayers following the events of the first film as they settle into their post-apocalyptic lives. They’ve chosen a more luxurious lifestyle and decided to set up camp in the White House. After a disagreement between Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) and Wichita (Emma Stone) causes the group to split, Little Rock (Abagail Breslin) runs off with Berkeley (Avan Jogia), a guy she just met.

The group then sets off to rescue Little Rock, but, of course, they aren’t alone in the world. New types of zombies have overrun the world, they include Homers (dumb ones), Hawkings (smart ones) and Ninjas (deadly ones). Along the way, Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) meets his match in the form of a female zombie-hunting badass named Nevada. This makeshift family will have to use all their skills and follow Columbus’ survival rules if they want to make it out alive.

Little is known about the highly-anticipated sequel, although, rumor has it that the main cast aren’t the only ones returning. Bill Murray is reportedly set to make a cameo in the film alongside his Ghostbusters co-star Dan Akroyd. If their appearances are anything close to Murray’s in Zombieland, audiences are in for a treat.

Coming off the box office success of Venom, director Ruben Fleisher is returning to helm Zombieland 2, with a script from Deadpool writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese. The film stars Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Woody Harrelson, Abagail Breslin, Avan Jogia, and Zoey Deutch.
