At the Avengers: Infinity War Press Junket, ScreenRant asked Kevin Feige about Moon Knight’s potential to join the MCU.

Feige’s response is shown below:

Yes. Does that mean five years from now, 10 years from now, 15 years from now? There are stacks of character cards that we have in our, in our development offices, which we look at. Which we pull for him, which we discussed.

So while nothing is confirmed yet, that is a good sign for the character and his fans. Many fans had been hoping for Moon Knight to get his own Netflix series like Daredevil and Jessica Jones due to the darker tone of his comics. Then there were rumors saying the character’s series was in development for Netflix. Now it looks like Moon Knight has potential to join the MCU in the main film continuity in Phase 4 or beyond.

The Egyptian god Khonshu inside Spector’s mind

Moon Knight is a Marvel superhero named Marc Spector with multiple personalities. He started as a mercenary until he died under a statue of the Egyptian god Khonshu, who brought him back to life and became yet another personality inhabiting his mind. His powers include enhanced strength, speed, and endurance. He has also been known to have “prophetic visions.” Before he became a mercenary and then Moon Knight, Spector served in the military and the CIA. He is a skilled martial artist, acrobat, commando, and pilot. His weapons include a glider and moon-shaped blades.

He currently has an ongoing comic series that just started with #188, written by Max Bemis with art by Jacen Burrows. Issue #194 hits shelves this Wednesday, April 25th.
