Major ‘DOCTOR STRANGE’ Character Will Appear In ‘AVENGERS 4’ (SPOILERS)

The film may not have a title yet, but Avengers 4 is already shaping up to be an all-timer. We have now learned that the highly anticipated Infinity War sequel will include a familiar face fans should instantly recognize.

(SPOILERS FOR AVENGERS 4)

In a panel at the Austin Film Festival where executive producer Michael Grillo, with screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely present, they divulged some interesting details regarding the upcoming Avengers film. Especially Grillo as he may have accidentally spoiled a major character’s appearance in the film. Close this page now if you don’t want to know…but I assume you do so here it is. Doctor Strange star Tilda Swinton will indeed make her return as the Ancient One in Avengers 4.

Michael Grillo revealed this during a discussion about the crazy hard experience filming and prepping Avengers 4, saying: “when we got Tilda Swinton, she was just a 1-day availability”. Although we don’t know the context of why she is in the film, I’m sure fans will already begin to speculate exactly how she fits into the story.

This revelation is particularly interesting since her death in Doctor Strange was quite convincing, however, there may be a good explanation to this. Perhaps she meets with Strange after he got dusted in Infinity War, and could help him figure out how to get back. The panelists at the film festival also revealed that there was a scene that took 14 months to prep and took over 70 trailers for actors to get it done. This could be the scene she is a part of.

Avengers 4 is scheduled for release on May 3, 2019.
