According to our very own writer, DanielRPK, Marvel has begun the casting process for two characters from Chloe Zhao’s The Eternals.

It makes sense to include small roles or cameos from the Eternals in either Captain Marvel or Avengers 4. It allows Marvel to slowly introduce Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. “Karen” and Piper/Sprite will eventually go on to play much bigger roles in their own film.

The Eternals reportedly began production back in September in efforts to prepare for the launch of Phase 4 in the MCU which will start after Avengers 4 in 2019.
