Shirtless Bear-Fighter, the newest series from Image comics has been out and it may possibly be my new favorite series!Shirtless Bear-Fighter is a wacky crazy story and it is so much fun to read. The story starts in a major city, no literally the city is named “Major City”. A bear is rampaging in Major City and it is unstoppable, it shows the bear causing destruction and then the story goes to a forest. A couple are having a picnic when they get attacked by a bear and then Shirless Bear-Fighter swoops in and destroyed the bear!

Yes he is naked but why wouldn’t you be when you live alone in the woods and hunt bears with your bare hands (pun totally intended). As Shirtless is going back to his cabin there are secret agents lurking in the shadows, shirtless ambushes them but the head agent is one of his old friends, agent Burke.

Burke and the other agents go inside the cabin and talk to Shirtless, they tell him what is going on in Major City and that they need Shirtless to stop the beast. They then offer Shirtless a lifetime supply of 100% real maple syrup and flapjacks. Shirless doesn’t take the bribe and goes back into his cabin and the agents leave. The agents and Burke are flying over Major City when they get news that the bear has still yet to be stopped and that the President is considering an airstrike, just then a plane swoops in above their chopper and its no other than Shirtless in the bear plane.

Shirtless then starts to fight the Orsa beasts and as he hits the ground he realises their are two bears now. Shirtless swaps punches with the two beasts but then they both hit him at the same time which sends him flying into the building which looks like it kills him. We then get introduced to the two villains behind the bear attack, but I won’t spoil that for you.

 

It was such a fun read, the story is super ridiculous at times but that just makes it so much funnier to read and made me not want to put it down! all around a very fun read and I can not wait to read more! The art is very well done, it is a funny story, and I really love the story so much!
