HULK VS THOR Clip Plus BTS Look At HELA In ‘THOR: RAGNARÖK’

Thor Ragnarök is a little less than a month away, and the first reactions are already saying it is one of Marvel’s best and funniest film’s yet. A new clip has been released which shows the beginning of the Thor vs Hulk fight, and it also shows some behind the scenes footage and insight on the main villain Hela.

The main thing to grab from the Gladiator match is that Hulk seems to be loving his time on Sakaar as he basks in the glory screaming “Hulk! Hulk!” He is obviously a favorite of the fans considering they are all chanting his name and holding up cutouts of his face. Thor attempts to talk to him like an old friend but it’s evident that Hulk doesn’t recognize him and immediately goes in for the attack. Loki also gets a bit squeamish at the sight of Hulk, probably because Hulk threw him around like a rag doll in their last encounter.

The second part of the clip is a featurett on Hela, which show behind the scenes clips and interviews. Director Taika Waititi is quick to mention how she will be the first female villain in a Marvel film and how Cate Blanchett kills the roll. She then mentions how Hela is a type of villain “that you kind of love and hate what they do, but you sort of understand it.” I agree with her that those are the best villains, and I think this will help her become one of the better villains of the MCU.

Something interesting to note is that the location of destruction of Thor’s hammer Mjolnir seems to have changed. In the first trailer, Thor throws his hammer at Hela, and then she proceeds to destroy it. This looks to take place in an alley way on Earth.

In this new clip, though, the same scene takes place on an open field near the water. Loki is also present next to Thor now. I originally thought this scene takes place after Thor seeks the help of Doctor Strange with Loki to find Odin on Earth, but now I’m not so sure. We’ll just have to wait to find out.
