The highly anticipated Watchmen series has added a new member to its already stellar cast, as Hong Chau has joined the cast of Damon Lindelof’s HBO series.
As reported by Deadline, Chau will have a role on the show that has yet to be revealed, but they mention in their report that she may be playing Lady T (a character which is Vietnamese). This isn’t the first time Chau has played a Vietnamese character, as she herself is Vietnamese and has a received previously a Golden Globe and SAG Award nomination for her role as a Vietnamese immigrant named Ngoc Lan in Downsizing.
Chau is the latest actress to join the star-studded cast, as Jeremy Irons, Regina King, Tim Blake Nelson, Don Johnson, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, are just some of the actors that have roles in the show. This news also marks Chau’s return to the network, for she has worked on other HBO series such as Big Little Lies and Treme.
