After Thor’s iconic hammer Mjolnir was destroyed in the events of Thor: Ragnarök many fans were left wondering what the God of Thunder would wield in the events of Avengers: Infinity War. Well it seems based on new leaked images of an upcoming LEGO set we may have confirmation that Thor will wield the mighty axe, Jarnbjorn.

Awhile back the name of a number of upcoming Avengers: Infinity War LEGO sets leaked online with brief descriptions of each, the most interesting being a set titled, The Search For Thor’s Weapon. We know that the set will include a mini figure of Thor, Rocket Raccoon, Groot, and an unknown Infinity Stone. But we now have a look at two of the figures and more importantly a look at Thor’s new weapon.

The images seen in the post are quite believable as they feature the same figures that have already been seen in earlier looks at leaked LEGO mini figures. But nonetheless, the figures are not of interest to us here, rather it is that of the axe between Groot and Thor.

The axe (while a LEGO) is unmistakable as the legendary Jarnborn wielded by Thor. Which given his lack of a hammer, it makes sense that he will need to find a new weapon, and now it seems we know what that weapon may be.
