RUMOR: Gwyneth Paltrow To Reprise Her Role As Pepper Potts In ‘SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME’

It appears no matter the outcome of Avengers 4, Spider-Man: Far From Home will still have that Iron Man connection. Our colleague, DanielRPK, has learned that Gwyneth Paltrow is set to appear in next year’s Spider-Man film.

This news comes on the heels of a set video that revealed Jon Favreau’s Happy Hogan on the set of Far From Home. With Hogan being confirmed it only makes sense for his castmate from Spider-Man: Homecoming to make an appearance. Paltrow was featured briefly at the end of Homecoming along with Robert Downey Jr.

The veteran actress has been a mainstay in the MCU since she first appeared in 2008s Iron Man. She cameoed at the beginning of Avengers: Infinity War and is also set to return for Avengers 4. Without knowing the ending of the next Avengers film, it was difficult to estimate if the Iron Man films would have a significant influence on Far From Home. Even with that being the case, it appears that Paltrow will have a role to play.

Paltrow will be joined by MCU veterans Cobie Smulders and Samuel L. Jackson, who will return as Maria Hill and Nick Fury respectively. Another MCU name that DanielRPK was able to get information on was Michael Keaton. According to the same source as the Paltrow news, Keaton will indeed reprise his role as Adrian Toomes, which was heavily rumored.

Representatives at Sony declined to comment on the story.
