EXCLUSIVE: ‘DOOM PATROL’ Will Feature A Historic Comic Location

The DC Universe streaming service is set to debut its first original series when Titans drops next month. They will follow the highly anticipated series up when Doom Patrol makes its way onto the service. We have some exclusive news to share regarding the upcoming series that is sure to get fans excited.

A source close to the show has revealed that Doom Patrol will feature a location being referred to as Doom Manor. It will serve as the headquarters for the team. Now, there is no location in the comics known as Doom Manor but what it is referring to is Dayton Manor. Appearing in multiple comic runs dating back all the way to 1966, Dayton Manor is a location that was used at one point as the headquarters of the Doom Patrol.

The Dayton in Dayton Manor refers to Steve Dayton. That name may sound familiar because it is the alter ego of Doom Patrol member Mento. Dayton is also the foster father of Gar Logan, also known as Beast Boy. It’s unclear if Mento will officially become a member of the team in the series, although, there’s a good chance given his history with Elasti-Girl.
