‘HAWKEYE’ Solo Project Still In Development, New Details Revealed

For the last several months, fans have been sitting on their hands waiting for more news following the report that Marvel Studios was circling a solo film starring the Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton AKA Hawkeye. While his presence was not felt during the events of the Avengers: Infinity War, Hawkeye is sure to make an impact in the final battle with Thanos during Avengers 4. However, after that, little to nothing is known about the future of several characters within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

As first reported by MCU Cosmic , the solo project featuring Marvel’s resident archer is still very much alive in and is moving along within the development stages as according to plan. This comes to no surprise though because fans have been dying for more stories about the background and life of Hawkeye and Black Widow so it makes sense that these two characters are at the forefront of Phase 4 of the MCU. At the time of this writing, however, it is unsure whether this project will end up on the big screen or on the upcoming Disney Streaming service alongside projects such as the rumored Loki, Nick Fury, and Scarlet Witch TV shows.

The new details surrounding this project is that a confirmation that this project will indeed surround Clint Barton’s Hawkeye but the story will be built upon him training a new, younger archer.

That’s right, Marvel fans. Kate Bishop just might be heading towards the MCU. While these new details should be taken with a grain of salt and is in no way a confirmation of the two Hawkeye’s in the future of the MCU, it is an exciting update from a site that has been known to drop exciting Marvel news on a regular basis.

What do you think? Who would you cast as Kate Bishop? Is the most recent Avengers 4 casting announcement somehow involved? Let us know in the comments below and @superbromovies.
