Game of Thrones has drastically changed television as a whole. People have latched onto the series and this has driven the show into top tier status. The final season of the show was set to be released sometime this year, but after the scale proved to be too large, they wiped it from its original slate. There was no confirmation on when it would return, but now that’s all changed!

Come April of 2019, Game of Thrones will return to HBO and premier its final run on television. This was revealed along with a teaser from the show’s twitter account. Check it out below:

With only six episodes to finish it off, every episode is expected to pack a punch. The episodes have been said to be longer, and much more bigger in every sense of the word. This is apparent in the fact that they shot a record breaking scene that spanned over 50 days just for one fight sequence.

The lore of this show has created a whole new realm for people to immerse themselves in. A world full of intensity, action, and of course, Jon Snow.
