With the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film Spider-Man: Far From Home currently in the post-production phase, fans have been wondering about what the film’s narrative will be. Although it is known that major characters such as Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio will appear, it has not been clear as to how all the pieces connect to each other. It turns out that WDSSPR, a Russian Disney/Sony press website, has just released a plot synopsis for the film.

While the current synopsis does not mention the likes of Mysterio, it does live up to the promise set up by its Far From Home subtitle as it mentions the main character going to Europe for a summer trip. In addition, it mentions how Peter Parker has to work with Nick Fury to find out more about their potential adversaries. The full synopsis can be seen below:

One aspect this synopsis does not cover is when exactly this takes place in the MCU. Although it is a sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming, it is not evident if this takes place before or after Avengers: Infinity War and the upcoming Avengers: Endgame. As such, fans have to continue speculating the film’s continuity until more information is revealed.
