Sebastian Stan is ‘Down, 100%’ For A WINTER SOLDIER Spinoff Movie

Sebastian Stan has previously stated that he’d be interested in a spinoff movie that is focused around his character as the Winter Soldier. Last night was the world premiere for Avengers: Infinity War and Variety was able to catch up with Sebastian Stan himself. One of the topics of conversation surrounded the endless possibilities that Marvel has when it comes to these spinoff films. Check out the brief interview below.

Stan believes that many characters in the MCU have great potential to have a story based solely about them, Winter Soldier being one of them. Every time Stan plays the character, he states how he learns something new about him. Doing a whole movie based on the character would be a blast for him, with him even saying he’s “Down, 100%” for it.

As for the Winter Soldier as a character, Bucky has grown past that title and now goes by White Wolf. A spinoff movie however can provide a perfect opportunity for Stan to go back and explore the decades of history where the Winter Soldier was working for Hydra as an elite soldier. There is plenty of subject matter so I think they could conjure up a pretty good movie.

Would you like to see Sebastian Stan star in his own Winter Soldier spinoff movie? I sure would. Let us know over at SuperBroMovies! In the mean time, cure your Stan withdrawals by going to see him on the big screen this week in Avengers: Infinity War.
