Fresh of the news that the talented Priyanka Chopra was engaged Nick Jonas, she is back in the news with some exciting casting news as she continues to carve out quite an impressive resume of big box office roles on both TV and the big screen.
Chopra is officially in the final stages of joining the cast of the highly anticipated adaption of the wildly popular graphic novel from Image Comics.
According to Variety, Chopra beat a bevy of other actresses who coveted the role after a extremely successful chemistry test with Chris Pratt himself.
Not much is known about the film at the time of this writing but Universal Pictures is developing the film as an adaptation of the source material of the same name written by A.J Lieberman and illustrated by Riley Rossmo in which an assassin manifest the skills of a cowboy, a ninja, and a viking.
With a screenplay developed by Craig Mazin (Hangover Part II), Paul Wernick and Everett David Reese (Deadpool), the film is set to hit theaters on June 28, 2019.
