BREAKING: ‘WONDER WOMAN 1984’ Release Date Pushed Back To June 2020

The highly-anticipated sequel to Patty Jenkins’ hit film has been delayed. The release for Wonder Woman 1984 has been pushed back from its November 1st, 2019 date.

Titular actress Gal Gadot took to Twitter to announce the new release date of June 5, 2020. As she goes on to say, this date was the original date intended for the project.

As you can see in the tweet, Gadot appears to be revealing this news with positive intent. The delay could be to push the film into the summer box office season rather than the late 2019 window. Although, delaying a superhero blockbuster, especially a DCEU project, sparks heated debates on the internet.
