The long awaited Disney-Fox deal is nearing its close and this has Marvel/Fox character fans on edge.

However, the legalities surrounding these characters keep anything from being simple. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige was recently a guest on Variety’s Playback podcast, according to MCU Cosmic.

As good as this news is, it defeats current speculation that Fox characters such as “The Fantastic Four” or “X-Men” will be teased at the end of Avengers: Endgame next year, seeing as these characters cannot be touched for the first six months. MCU Cosmic speculates that the MCU will not see a hint of the beloved Marvel characters until 2020 at the earliest.
