As we all know, Manners Maketh Man and the Kingsman prequel is full of men with manners.
Matthew Vaughn is ramping up pre-production on Kingsman: The Great Game and with that comes word on an expanding cast. Yesterday, new details regarding the prequel and the trilogy ending Kingsman 3 were revealed and now comes word that Daniel Brühl (Captain America: Civil War), and Charles Dance (Game of Thrones) have joined the cast. Rhys Ifans (The Amazing Spider-Man) is currently in negotiations to join the film as well.
From Collider, Ifans is in final negotiations to play a “dangerous and manipulative Russian mystic.” Brühl and Dance’s roles are being kept under wraps. It’s possible they could be playing one of the characters that was described in a casting breakdown last month.
It would appear Vaughn is looking for actors to add some gravitas to this upcoming prequel. The cast already consists of Harris Dickinson (Trust) as “Conrad,” a cocky yet charming young hero, and Ralph Fiennes (Harry Potter franchise).
Along with the prequel and sequel in the series, Matthew Vaughn is looking at a Kingsman TV show and a Statesman spinoff.
